PAM is a lamp in which 3D prints are the connecting elements. The four printed parts form the link, without screws or glue, between all the lamp’s components: an opal glass diffuser, a standard square tube, an aluminium plate and the electrical cable.

The name PAM is the acronym for « Pâte à modeler » (modeling clay in french) and it’s also an onomatopoeia for a sudden impact. Indeed, to make the models for the 3D prints, we used modeling clay, into which we pressed the aluminium profil and glass diffuser. We kept the irregular organic shapes that resulted from these models.
