We aimed to design a wooden chair that is comfortable, generous in its proportions, and stackable. Its name, Ski, refers to the two crossbars that slalom between the front and back legs, ensuring its stability. The design alternates straight lines (legs and crossbars) with more pronounced curves (seat and backrest). The rounded sections of the legs are identical, simply reversed between front and back, as if a single piece had been cut in two.
The Ski chair was produced in a small number of pieces for an office in Lyon (France). It is made of solid oak in the Paris workshop of Léon Morisset.
